Dolce Vita is a sprawling, 300,000-square metre residential development in Jinshazhou in northwest Guangzhou.The whole project will offer 2,800 units. International Design for Local Consumption

What adds to the attractiveness of Dolce Vita is its international lineage. CapitaLand China partnered with the Lai Fung Group from Hong Kong and hired renowned global architectural firm AJ + C and world’s leading landscape design firm EDAW to develop this property. The result is a hive of apartments that, despite the numbers, are laid out to maximise space, allow for optimal traffic flow and provide a comfortable living environment.

The designers drew inspiration from the surrounding mountains and have integrated various mountain motifs and building elements to bring a unique blend of the natural and modern. The existing natural terrain was used to create distinctive scenic features to bring harmony between the natural surrounding and the man-made landscape. Even the elevation of the terrain was incorporated into the design so that the units are afforded unblocked views of the Xun Feng Mountain and waters. In addition, the towers are spaced about 100 metres apart to allow for air-flow and space between apartments for an uncluttered, open feel.   

Nature in the Interior

Not only is Dolce Vita surrounded by Nature, the units also bring Nature within. The interiors are done up in pure white wood and decorated in accordance with LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) concept. LOHAS is a concept that embraces health and fitness, the environment, personal development and sustainable living in its furnishing and lifestyle ideas. A thoroughly thought-through ventilation plan allows in natural light and cooling breezes. The kitchen and bathrooms are fitted with internationally acclaimed brands like Electrolux and Kohler.

It, therefore, comes as no surprise that Dolce Vita has already attracted nearly 1,000 prospective buyers since its launch in late May. Of the 230 units released, almost 80% have been sold, generating revenue of approximately RMB300 million. In total, 750 units in six high-rise blocks are expected to be released this year.
