CapitaLand-National Geographic Channel “Building People” Photography Competition 2012

A great photograph, like a great building, generates an emotional response.

Returning for the third year, the photography competition held from April to June 2012 invited photography enthusiasts to submit photographs taken of any CapitaLand property located in Asia Pacific and Europe.

The theme of the contest revolves around how CapitaLand buildings – including homes, offices, shopping malls, serviced residences and mixed developments interact with the people living, working or shopping around them. Over 2,000 photo entries from Asia Pacific countries, including Singapore, China, Australia, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Brunei were submitted. The two-month contest culminated with a photo exhibition showcasing over 200 of the best entries at ION Orchard, Singapore.
